The Barn at Wayside

Nestled within the tranquil Shropshire countryside, The Barn at Wayside provides the perfect location for your special day. At Wayside, our rustic barn has been beautifully renovated to create a stunning backdrop for your wedding whilst still capturing its authentic charm. The high vaulted, wooden beams and exposed brickwork creates a large but warm and atmospheric room to hold your reception, comfortably seating up to 80 guests and up to 120 evening guests. Our new ceremony room provides the perfect, intimate space to say ‘I do’, leaving the main hall set up and ready to celebrate with your friends and family afterwards without having to move chairs and tables around.

When booking your barn wedding at Wayside you will have exclusive use of the barn, bar and grounds to create the day you’ve always dreamt of. We are a family run venue that will do the upmost to help you design and plan your special day and with a list of fantastic local suppliers, we will be here to help guide you through your wedding planning journey. This is the beginning to your ever after and must be nothing less than perfect. You decide what this looks like, from the caterers to the decor and theme, let your imagination run wild!  

At the end of your day, you can retreat to the charming on-site  shepherd’s hut, which is included as part of your wedding package. Finish your day beneath the stars, reminiscing together with bubbles in the hot tub. If guests don’t want to travel home at the end of your wonderful day, we have a variety of luxury on-site accommodation and camp site pitches available for them to book.
